The FCS Fund is the school’s annual giving program. It is the most immediate way for family and friends to support our students. These funds directly influence a generation of students to know, love, and serve Christ. The FCS Fund helps resource essentials within the daily operation of the school, including teacher development, technology, and athletics as well as an unrestricted fund to help wherever the need is the greatest. These donations are tax-deductible and are spent within the same fiscal year in which they are donated.
Does my gift make a difference? Yes! With a goal of $352,000, it takes a lot of donors and gifts of every size. Your gift and your participation will inspire someone else to give as well.
Why is participation in The FCS Fund so important? Participation in The FCS Fund is important for several reasons. It demonstrates your commitment to the school. Gifts to the FCS Fund are also imperative for future growth. As an independent school and a non-profit, FCS relies on two primary sources of income: Tuition accounts for the majority of the School’s operating funds. Operating expenses not covered by tuition must come from unrestricted charitable contributions. Annual Fund dollars raised will go directly into the operations of the School. And lastly, participation is key to enhancing FCS’s reputation. Major donors and foundations often look at the percentage of giving among trustees, faculty/staff, current parents, alumni, alumni families, and friends of the school. The giving level is used to determine whether a gift to FCS is a good investment. Donors and foundations want to invest in a school community that invests in itself.
